Knee
The knee is a complex system made up of bones, ligaments, tendons and cartilage structures enabling us to assume a static position and walk. Its mobility involves a combination of rolling and sliding movements. Most knee problems are caused by injury (sprain or cruciate ligament rupture) or degenerative conditions (osteoarthritis).
ACTION PRINCIPLE:
Proprioceptive Knee Brace: Improved proprioception (perception of the body in space) via the use of a compressive knit. Used in the event of mild joint pain or resumption of activities.
Patellar Knee Brace: Kneecap supported by the silicone ring and proprioceptive effect thanks to the compressive knit. Used in the event of tendinitis or a chronic condition (osteoarthritis, etc.).
Ligament Knee Brace: Supports the knee via the use of hinged rigid reinforcements. Used in the phase immediately following injury (depending on the severity), or in the resumption of sports phase.
Knee Splint: Analgesic and protective effect due to complete immobilisation of the knee. Used immediately after an injury or postoperatively.
